Saad General Company - one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Municipalities and Municipalities - achieved an advanced completion of the project of implementing the cooling water pipe network, implemented by the Company for the Central Refinery Company, affiliated to the Ministry of Oil, at a contractual cost of IQD 2,382,610,000.
The project was carried out in two phases. The first was the excavation of foundations and columns, the breakage of the intersections with the services, and the installation of the "Anchorbolt" for the column bases, with the casting and coating of the soil contact areas and the on-site surveys.
While the second phase included the cutting and welding of steel structures bearing pipes, whose height ranges between (3-6) m, and the stomach to carry two tubes (54 and 36) diameter, the paths include the presence of ladders for service as well as the presence of phrases for streets, Pipe closure sites.
It is noteworthy that the path of the steel structures was overlapping in several areas with the rest of the other units, passing through several specialized units in the refinery ending with the oxidation unit, which required exceptional efforts and preparations by the engineering and technical staff of the company and in consultation with representatives of the Middle Refineries Company to solve problems Resulting from the conversion of paths and intersections that interfere with the services of those units, as well as their conflict with safety requirements and the prevention of contaminants.
